Snow on the Edge

Inspired by Cuspie, some photos of where I be, in deepest Sussex. Cheating, because they are taken by my neighbour-over-the-road who has a talent for this sort of thing.

The last photo is of Signs Cottage, the lit up window our living room.

Glorious they are, too. I like the "proper" winter weather - but, as I write that, I feel sure that we've had such a conversation already. Worth repeating though.

Trousers, I actually think it's worth repeating every year. And that sigh coming from Zhoen seems to confirm it.

But why can I not get my photos to enlarge? Possibly because I dragged them to a different position once they were uploaded?

How absolutely wonderful!

I am afraid I have no snow to speak of so no snow photo's from me. But this is a good meme to do (snow permitting)

Lovely photos and just as snowy at yours as here. Your little cottage looks so cosy.

Kahless, I have just now worked out what "meme" means - from the French même, must be.

Cusp, it's cosy and small (a semi) - and I've just noticed that snow doesn't settle on our roof.

Willow, It is kind of fairy tale around here altogether.

Mim, wishing you a bright one too. We don't often get a white Christmas here.

Happy Christmas and New Year! I'm back in the UK in July for two whole weeks! I'll send details as I have them.

It looks like a veritable conspiracy of joy and goodwill! So that's what they've been up to in Sussex!

Merry Christmas this morning.

...and a Merry C to TPE, if he stops by.

Finally, I know what it must have been like to be Betrand Russell and Alfred North Whitehead in the years before World War I: the logic of comments, hierarchies, meta-comments about comments...
the genesis of the Principia Commentaria!

Collin, I have just been watching the Doctor! July - good. Keep us informed.

Montag, a merry C to you too. Comments about comments and meta-comments are a speciality in these parts. There's nothing like a good digression, is what I find.
